It shows far more detail than a regular X-ray.Both MRI and CT scans provide diagnostic images of the inside of your body. They, however, accomplish this task in distinctly different ways.

SELF-FUNDING PATIENTS

An increasing number of patients are choosing to pay for their operations independently. The main advantages of this include greater flexibility in choosing the date of your operation. You will also be guaranteed of having the surgeon of your choice. Waiting times are also much lower in the private sector.

Another big advantage with inclusive care packages is that there are no hidden extras. The cost includes the operation, surgeons fees, hospital stay, physiotherapy etc. The package also includes one follow-up consultation.

If you feel that you are unable to pay for the consultation fees or investigations, please have a word with our secretary who may be able to offer some advice or make alternative arrangements for you.

As a general rule, it is possible to pay for a private operation either as an inclusive care package or as a self-funding package. Provided that your general health is good, inclusive care packages will normally be offered by the hospital.

With self-funding packages expenses are totaled up as treatment progresses. Should things for whatever unforeseen reason not go to initial plan, the final bill could in theory be greater than expected.

All prices are subject to change. Exact quotes are given upon request.
